With a group we were asked to create a new game for the Puzzled! arcade machine.
The unique 13 color changing buttons on this machine provided a challenge.
But we managed to deliver a fun game that uses the features in it's core gameplay.
For this project I focused on the design of the player and enemy characters during prpduction. And I focussed on game design during pre production.
While also playing a flexible role and helping out where most needed within the team.
We knew we wanted a one wheeled robot, so I did some quick concept sketches, mostly just to get some ideas out and get started.Â
Once a solid concept was in place I got to 3d modeling, unwrapping and texturing.
We decided on only using a base texture and normal map as those helped achieve the stylized look we were aiming for.
